And finally Berlin (with a side of Majorca)

Months ago I renamed my blog and told you I moved to Berlin, well now it's the photo proof.

Ok, so that was the only touristy pic I took the first week. I started apartment hunting the day I arrived and then off to work the next day.

Invalidenpark - my workplace stop
I had a friend visiting from Canada that week and he got to do all the sightseeing. I just had the après sightseeing beverages :)

I did eat some food too . . .

First week at work and I was already leaving early for a weekend away. Since I'm living in Germany, it had to be Majorca because that's what Germans do! Weather wasn't the best but we still made it to the beach.

Hotel wasn't too shabby either . . .

A day at Disney - epic!

Long before I knew I was moving to Berlin, we had bought discounted tickets to Disney through work. The day had been set months in advance and there was no way I was going to miss it. Park opens at 10am and we were there on time. The plan was to stay until we got tired, we ended up there pretty much until the gates closed, 12hrs of Disney! Crazy.

Team Disney!

The weather was kind of crap but that didn't stop us! First stop, Discoveryland. . .

Have to admit we did the Buzz Lightyear ride twice, we are all a little competitive :)

Our top scorer
We had one lost phone after space mountain so some stayed behind while the rest of us moved on to Fantasyland. We had a rookie Disney peep with us so there was a must stop at It's a Small World (and to killl a little time!).

After a few other rides there was a quick tour of the castle.

Then off to Adventureland and Frontierland . . .

Pirates was closed :(

But Indiana Jones wasn't!

Haunted Mansion

Walt Disney Studios was next on our tour . . .

Since we were in France, we had to visit Gusteau's!

There were some magic carpet rides, a few rollercoasters and a ride we didn't understand at all (don't bother with Armageddon).

But I have to say, the ride that left it's mark was the Tower of Terror. It literally scared the living daylights out of me!!

Before I knew what awaited me . . .

After walking around forever looking for something to eat, we ended up with a gourmet meal before we called it a day . . .

One of the few times 1664 tasted good :)
With that, the day was done and I was on a plane the next morning to my next adventure . . .

Au Revoir!
